What is the Blue Cross Blue Shield 2021 Virtual Summit?
The BCBS 2021 Virtual Summit is a virtual gathering of Plan professionals from across the BCBS System to learn and discuss how we’re evolving and moving healthcare forward in this new era. It’s an opportunity to understand the visions and strategies of Blue Cross Blue Shield CEOs during keynote session panel discussions, to learn how Plans are evolving their programs and strategies to better care for members in 2021 and to make valuable connections with your colleagues and professionals from across the industry.
How long is the event?
The BCBS 2021 Virtual Summit will take place May 4 – 14, and can be accessed on your computer or mobile device. Sessions will remain on-demand for up to 60 days after the conference concludes. While the full conference agenda has not yet been released, our preliminary agenda has the first activity of the day beginning at 8 a.m. (CDT), and sessions are scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. (CDT) and conclude each afternoon at 4:30 p.m. (CDT).
How much is conference registration?
The registration fees for the BCBS 2021 Virtual Summit are as follows

Speaking and Leaving** No Charge
Full Conference Registration gives you access to all events at the conference.
Single-Day Registration is available only for the day of your session and cannot be combined with other registration types. You will have access to all events at the conference on the day of your session.
Speaking and Leaving Registration indicates that you will be present only for your session and will not attend any other sessions.
**Speaking and Leaving Registration grants access only to the session(s) in which you are presenting; access to other conference events is restricted.

How can I register a large group? Is there an easy way to do it?
If you would like to send a group from your Plan, send an email to Perry.Juliano@bcbsa.com and include a list of all the people you’d like to register. We will walk you through the details from there to make sure everyone is registered quickly and easily!
Can I register with my personal email address?
For security reasons, only work email addresses will be allowed to access the virtual platform. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate any requests to use a personal email address for access (e.g., Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, etc.).
How do I log in to view sessions?
Detailed information will be emailed to all attendees the week prior to the event including your unique password, a link to the virtual platform and instructions on the two-factor authentication system in place.
I’m unavailable during the scheduled broadcast. Can I watch a session later?
Yes! All scheduled sessions will be available for up to 60 days after the event concludes so you can re-watch your favorites or catch up on sessions you may have missed.
What is the best way to watch sessions?
The virtual platform is compatible with desktop computers, iPads, tablet computers and mobile devices with wireless internet connection. For the best experience, we recommend viewing sessions on your computer using Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge. The virtual platform may not look as intended if you use Internet Explorer.
Can I earn continuing education credit?
Yes, CPE, CLE and CME/CE credits will be offered. Click here for more information. Please note, in order to receive credit, you will need to watch the sessions at their original scheduled time. Credits will not be offered for watching sessions on-demand.
Is the virtual platform secure?
The BCBS 2021 Virtual Summit is a private, invitation-only event that is not open to the public or the press. There will be a two-factor authentication process in order to ensure only verified attendees are accessing the content.

How do I network and connect with colleagues at the virtual event?
There are more ways than ever to connect with your Plan colleagues and sponsors.
Can I make changes to an existing registration or transfer a registration to someone else?
All registration fees are nonrefundable and cannot be applied or credited to future conferences. We would strongly encourage a coworker to go as a substitution.
Registrant substitutions will be accepted only with written notification from the original registrant, sent on or before April 27, 2021, either by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. No administration fee will apply to substitutions; however, only one substitution may occur per registrant. No substitutions will be allowed after April 27, 2021.
